3 people stabbed at same location in Watsonville

A knife-wielding assailant stabbed three people in Watsonville Saturday night, police said.

Watsonville officers said they responded to a report of two victims who had been stabbed about 10 p.m. in the area of Progress Avenue at Longview Drive.

While officers interviewed the victims in a nearby hospital, a third victim with a stab wound was brought into the emergency room.

Officers said they determined all three victims had been stabbed in the same location.

The assailant has not been found, officers said.
