4.0 Earthquake Shakes Area Torched By Northern California Wildfire

KPIX– An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.0 shook an area which was burning as part of the Northern California wildfires in Mendocino County.

The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake hit at 4:10 p.m. PT and was centered about 10 miles north of Ukiah, a region affected by the Redwood and Potter Fires.

There were no immediate word of damage or injuries from the earthquake.
