Pickup truck drives off Highway 101 crashes near Best Western
A driver of a pickup truck lost control on Highway 101 in Salinas and crashed down an embankment near a motel.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred just after 6:20 a.m. Thursday morning. The truck got stuck off the highway near the Kern Street on ramp.
In June, a similar situation occurred when a white SUV drove off Highway 101 in the same location and landed on a parked car at the Best Western in Salinas.
CHP has not reported any injuries for Thursdays accident and said drugs or alcohol did not play a factor in the crash.
