Car flips over on railroad tracks in Royal Oaks

A vehicle has flipped over onto railroad tracks in Monterey County.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 11:52 a.m. Friday. The car crashed and flipped over on Hudson Landing Road and Spring Road in Royal Oaks. The vehicle is overturned on the railroad tracks there.

A witness saw the driver get out of the car and run on foot. Union Pacific has been notified and a tow truck is in route to get the car off the tracks.
