Central Coast weighs in on gun control following mass shooting
So many unanswered questions remain tonight following the deadly massacre in Las Vegas.
And one hot button issue is gun control.
The Middlebury Institute of International Studies in downtown Monterey has hundreds of students from across the world, each country with varying guns laws. Some are very strict. But the big question tonight is what kind of difference would new laws make in the United States?
As the country mourns the loss of dozens of lives following the deadly shooting in Las Vegas, renewed attention is being brought to the U.S. and its gun laws, especially since police say all of 23 weapons found in the shooter’s hotel room were bought legally.
At 5 and 6, KION’s Paul Dudley will have more on how laws in other countries compare to those here.
