New PBR event slated for August at Salinas Sports Complex

For the first time ever the PBR will be back in August at the Salinas Sport Complex. The brand new event is called the Bulls of Summer. It will give those who couldn’t get tickets to last week’s sold out event a chance to see professional Bull Riders in action.The event will be held August 26th at the Salinas Sports Complex and is modeled after the PBR that happens during the California Rodeo Salinas. The difference is it will be Saturday night, rather than on a Wednesday night.

“It can be your final summer event to attend. Everybody loves the bull riding here. Clearly, with the sell out three years in a row getting earlier and earlier we’re hoping to fill that demand,” said California Rodeo Mandy Linquist. There will be two bars open late for those who want to enjoy music and dancing. Each will feature live music, one with a Banda and one with a band.
