Cal Fire responds to brush fire near Highway 152

A fire that broke out near Highway 152 and San Felipe Road Monday afternoon is already 75 percent contained.

According to Captain Trevor Galeazzi of Cal Fire, crews received a report of the fire at 2:14 p.m.

Captain Galeazzi said the fire, which currently covers between three to five acres of land, is not spreading.

Six fire engines, a bulldozer and a water tender are reportedly on the scene.

There have been no evacuations and no damages.
