Marina Police arrest serial Target shoplifter

A man was arrested for allegedly shoplifting from a Target in Marina.

On July 17, Marina Police officers were called to an attempted shoplifting at Target. Store staff gave police a description of the suspect’s car as he fled the scene.

An officer identified the suspects car a short distance away on Highway 1. Officers stopped Sean Eschelback who was identified as the suspect.

The department said further investigation revealed that Eschelback was invovled in numerous thefts from Target stores throughout Central California. The total amount stolen of item stolen were worth more than $2,000.

Eschelback was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail.
