HOLLISTER: Police arrest 4 juveniles on burglary, conspiracy and drug charges
Four juveniles are in custody for allegedly breaking into a school in Hollister.
According to Hollister Police, on Friday July 14, officers responded to a report by a neighbor of a burglary in progress at Cerra Vista School. Upon investigating inside the school officers found the four suspects next to a classroom that had been broken into. The four juveniles ran from police in different directions. Officers were able to quickly arrest three of the suspects, and cuffed the fourth a few blocks away.
Police said during the investigation evidence was found linking the juveniles to the burglary at the school and another burglary that occurred at Calvary Christian School a short distance away. One of the suspects also had marijuana on them and the juvenile told police it belonged to all four of them.
The juveniles a 12-year-old, a 15-year-old and two 17-year-olds were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall for charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of marijuana under the age of 18.
