Watsonville man arrested for indecent exposure
A 34-year-old Watsonville man was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a little girl.
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department said the indecent exposure took place Tuesday at Portola Redwoods State Park near La Honda.
Deputies responded to the camping area at 9000 Portola State Park Road around 11:30 p.m.
The child’s parent witnessed the incident and identified Timothy Smith as the suspect.
Deputies found Smith in a nearby campsite. He was placed under arrest for indecent exposure and annoying a child. Smith has been booked into the San Mateo County Jail.
The case is still under investigation.
