Police investigate a string of car break-ins in Pacific Grove

According to the Pacific Grove Police Department, there has been a rash of car break-ins in the city.

On Wednesday, police responded to four calls for reports of theft from vehicles on Park Street, Balboa Avenue, Shell Avenue, and Todd Lane.

The department said in each case, the cars were unlocked. Officers want to remind residents and those visiting the central coast not to leave valuables in their car and to lock the doors.
