Man attempts to drown girlfriend in Morgan Hill

UPDATE: 7/6/2017 3:48 p.m. Gage Palafox has been arrested for assaulting his girlfriend and attempting to drown her, according to Morgan Hill Police Department.

The Morgan Hill Police Department is looking for a man they say assaulted his girlfriend and attempted to drown her in a pool.

On Saturday, July 1 MHPD responded to the area of Pine Way on a report of a domestic battery.

The victim was able to escape her boyfriend, Gage Palafox and call 9-1-1.

Morgan Hill police have not been able to find Palafox. He was last seen driving a 2004 Suzuki Verona, license plate number 5RLE959. Police said there may be a yellow “Mystery Spot” bumper sticker on the back of the car.

Palafox also has an active $100,000 felony warrant for another case.
