Marina man in custody after leading police on chase

A 38-year-old man is behind bars after leading Marina Police on a short vehicle pursuit.

On Saturday, a Marina Police Officer was doing a business check on a local motel parking lot. The officer noticed Bradley Kight of Marina sitting inside a 90’s model Honda. Once Kight saw the officer he sped out of the parking lot which led Marina Police to believe the car was stolen.

After a short vehicle pursuit, police said Kight ran into a local RV Park and was found hiding under a parked car.

Kight was arrested for evading peace officer, probation violation, and for driving with a suspended license.
