Capitola, most walkable beach town in the U.S.

It is the official first day of summer and why not kick it off with a stroll on the beach.

Elle Decor has listed ten of the most walkable beaches in the United States and two of those beaches are in Santa Cruz County.

Brigit Mallon and Sara Tardiff of Elle Decor, have awarded Capitola as the #1 city when it comes to most walkable beach towns.

Santa Cruz comes in at #5 with California’s oldest operating theme park.
