Hollister police arrested Joe Parra Jr., 24. Parra was identified as one of two suspects involved in the theft and assault.

The incident was reported around midnight April 19 in the area of Memorial Drive and Meridian Street. Police said the victim was approached by two suspects who demanded his wallet.

Police identified Parra as one of the two suspects in the case and arrested him on Monday after detectives responding to an unrelated incident, saw him driving. His bail was set at $35,000.
