Illegal weapons recovery and child endangerment charges in Hollister
UPDATE 4/18/17 5.28 p.m. The Hollister Police Department issued an update to say, “twenty four year-old, Jennifer Guardado, was arrested and charged with child endangerment. Charges of possession of an assault rifle and possession of a high capacity magazine were recommended for review to the District Attorney’s Office but were not charged at the time of booking. She was booked into the San Benito County jail. Several others involved in this case remain outstanding.”
Hollister police served two search warrants resulting in the recovery of illegal weapons and child endangerment charges, as well as gun charges.
On the morning of April 12, the Hollister Police Department, with the assistance of the San Benito Sheriff’s Deputies, UNET agents and SCCSET agents, served two search warrants.
The warrants were obtained through a Hollister Police Department investigation into an incident involving gang violence and firearms. The warrants were served on two houses at the same time.
Firearms, including an assault weapon with high capacity magazines and a handgun, were found at one of the houses.

She was booked into the San Benito County jail. Several others involved in this case remain outstanding, police said.
