Trial date set for Salinas child murder case

The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office says Tami Huntsman’s jury trial date has been set for March 5, 2018 in the case involving two children whose bodies were found in a Redding storage unit.

Tami Huntsman, 40, and Gonzalo Curiel, 19, were arrested in December 2015 after authorities located the bodies of Delylah Tara, 3, and Shaun Tara, 6, as well as a severely abused 9-year-old girl.

They were charged with first-degree murder, torture, child abuse and conspiracy in the case.
