Watsonville man arrested for hash oil lab and gun charges

A hash oil lab and a gun are off the streets tonight, according to Watsonville officers.

Officers said they went to a home in the 400 block of Center Street in Watsonville on Tuesday morning to arrest Luis Geronimo, 23, for an outstanding warrant.

Geronimo was in the garage when he was arrested.

According to officers, Geronimo was on active felony probation with search terms for weapons and controlled substances.

While searching his garage, officers said they found a functioning has oil lab.

Officers said manufacturing is extremely dangerous and is a felony crime.

A gun was also found in the garage, and officers said Geronimo is a convicted felon who is not allowed to have guns.

Geronimo was booked into county jail on numerous felony charges.
