New LED lights installed at Hartnell after reported assaults

Nine LED lights were installed on Hartnell Street and College Drive after two reported assaults in the area in January, according to officials.

Hartnell College officials said the project was completed to provide students and community members a safer area when they walk on the sidewalks in the evening.

According to officials, the project became a priority after the two assaults in January.
