King City drive-by shooting injures 16-year-old

Officers are investigating an attempted murder in King City that sent a teenage boy to the hospital, according to the King City Police Department.

It happened on the 2001 block of Rio Vista around 1pm today. Officers found the 16-year-old with three gunshot wounds.

“The victim was walking in the area when a vehicle drove by and an unknown suspect shot multiple times from the vehicle striking the victim,” according to the King City Police Dept. in a press release issued Tuesday evening.
