Storm repairs underway under sunny skies
The Santa Cruz County Public Works Department hopes residents will be patient as crews work to repair damage caused by a month of wet and windy weather. They’ve got no less than 70 spots on their list.
KION’s Maya Holmes toured the trouble spots today, including Lompico Road in Felton, where a wall of mud and debris needs to be cleared.
At 6 p.m., Maya will show us how crews are working 24 hours a day to stabilize hillsides and reconnect neighborhoods that have been cutoff by washed out roads.
