Water rescue is underway, 2 people are missing in Pebble Beach
An ocean rescue is currently underway in Pebble Beach, where Cal Fire said two people are unaccounted for after going into the water.
Cal Fire officials said they responded to the area of 17 Mile Drive and Bird Rock after getting reports of two people in the ocean.
Officials said one person fell off the rocks into the surf, and others entered the water to rescue that person. Two people remain missing.
Coast Guard helicopters are searching the area, as well as fire crews on the shore.
