UDPATE: More slides for Highway 17
UPDATE: If you don’t want to deal with detours and delays, steer clear of Highway 17. Caltrans crews are cleaning up slides on northbound Highway 17, where the northbound right lane is closed starting near Jarvis Road. The right lane of southbound Highway 17 near Summit Road is also closed do to a second slide.
Caltrans District 5 also reports that slides have also shut down Highway 9 north of Felon at Glen Arbor Road.
A dispatcher with CHP told KION that detours are in place on HIghway 17 as clean up efforts continue.
