Monday morning road report

At 10:00 a.m. Monday, Caltrans District 5 reported the following road conditions:

(Santa Cruz County)

Highway 17 – Northbound traffic is reduced to one lane .8 miles north of Scotts Valley at Vine Hill Road due to a mudslide.

Highway 9 – Closed from Vernon Street in Santa Cruz to 4.2 miles north of Santa Cruz at Glengarry Road due to mudslides. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

(Santa Cruz/San Benito Counties)

Highway 129 – Closed from 6.7 miles east of Watsonville (Rogge Lane) to the Santa Cruz/San Benito county line due to a mudslide. A detour is available.

(Monterey County)

Highway 1 – Closed from Anderson Canyon (Monterey County) to Ragged Point (San Luis Obispo County) due to a mudslide.
