Bear Creek Road now open in San Lorenzo Valley
The Santa Cruz County Public Works Department has opened Bear Creek Road with no restrictions on residential and commuter traffic.
The County says it is now safe to drive where a section of road slipped out. Traffic is reduced to one lane in the area. Public works officials urged drivers to use caution and obey the stop signs.
The County also said it will make the necessary permanent repairs as soon as possible.
