Carmel Valley Association suing Monterey County

The Carmel Valley Association is suing Monterey County over not meeting environmental requirements on the Rancho Cañada Development Project.

The CVA is challenging approval of the project on the grounds that the project violates local planning and zoning laws such as the Monterey County general plan and the Monterey county code. The board approval of the project did not serve the interests of the people of Carmel Valley. KION reached out to Monterey County and is waiting to hear back.
