Cleanup underway in flooded Carmel Valley homes
The garage is a place to store your car, bikes and a lawnmower. It’s not built to hold floodwaters.
On Sunday night, ten homes in Carmel Valley Village were flooded when the Carmel River spilled over a levee and into their neighborhood.
KION’s Steve Fundaro visited with some of the flooded residents today and spoke with firefighters about the cause of the flood and the cleanup ahead. Look for his report tonight at 6 p.m..
