Victim identified in New Year’s Eve Salinas homicide
Gunshots claimed the life of a Salinas man on New Years Eve.
According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, Omar Mireles-Sanchez, 30, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene of the shooting at 218 Boronda Road.
Deputies first responded at around 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2016.
