Salinas logs first homicide of the year

Salinas police officers said they responded to a fatal shooting on the 13000 block of Arthur Street just after 2 a.m. Sunday.

Officers said the victim was 21-year-old Christian Rosales, who died at the scene.

Police said Rosales was leaving a New Year’s Eve party.

There is very little information about the shooter. Police ask you contact them if you have any information about this investigation.
