Pacific Grove teen arrested for stabbing family member, police say
A Pacific Grove teen is charged with trying to kill a family member by stabbing them early Tuesday morning, according to police.
Officers said the victim was found inside an apartment on Arkwright Court and Nanak Dakota Tatum, 18, was arrested and charged with attempted homicide.
Pacific Grove police say they worked on the investigation with the Monterey County District Attorney’s Office.
Commander Rory Lakind said, “the Pacific Grove Police Department works on various crimes throughout the year. Rarely do we have a crime of violent nature. The department takes extra care and precaution on this type of felonious assault.”
