Aria Child gb Qbit stroller recall

A popular stroller is being recalled after five safety incidents related to a folding side hinge.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said the side hinge on the gb Qbit lightweight stroller made by Aria Child can pinch during unfolding, posing a laceration hazard. The commission also said the stroller can unexpectedly fold, posing a threat to the caregiver and child.

The recall was announced December 20 and is a voluntary recall.

Models affected include:

10AW1G-RAS2U-raspberry

10AW1G-WHT2U-white

10AW1G-CHA4U-charcoal

10AW1G-CIR5U-citrus lemon

Date of manufacture: March 25, 2015 through March 9, 2016
