Morgan Hill police replace stolen gifts

Here’s the good news: Morgan Hill police recovered a car recently that was stolen in Hollister. Police arrested two suspects and returned the car to its owner.

The bad news: All the Christmas presents in the trunk–including children’s car seats, a stroller and toys–were gone.

This week, there was more news and it was really good.

The Morgan Hill Police Officers Association announced on Facebook it had replaced the stolen gifts with the help of the Target store in Morgan Hill.

Officers presented the replacement gifts after asking the victim to come to the Police Department to help “complete their investigation.”
