Storm closes several Santa Cruz County roads

Several roads in Santa Cruz County are closed because of storm related issues. According to the Santa Cruz County Public Works Department, the following list includes traffic advisories to be aware of.

Alba Road: One lane impacted due to rock slides

Aptos Beach Drive at Rio Flats: Closed due to flooding

Bear Creek Road at Ralston Ridge: Road closed because of active landslide with mud and rocks

Empire Grade at Alba Road: One lane closed due to a slide

Eureka Canyon Road at Lower Highland: Road closed because of downed tree and power lines

Granite Creek Road at Branciforte Drive: Closed due to flooding

Jamison Creek Road, four miles West of SR 236: One lane closed because of flooding and rocks

Jarvis Road: Closed due to washout

Paulsen Road: Closed due to flooding

Rodeo Gulch Road North at Ponza Lane and at the top of Rodeo Gulch: Closed because of downed tree and power lines

Skyland Road between Miller Hill and Stetson: Road closed due to a large downed tree and power lines

Soquel San Jose Road at Alfadel Lane: One lane closed with stop signs due to a slide

Soquel San Jose Road, 10 miles north of Olsen Road: One lane closed because of slide with trees
