Woman attacked near Hartnell College campus
UPDATE 12/6/16 5:50 PM: Salinas police released a composite sketch of a man suspected of attacking a woman Monday near the Hartnell College campus. Police also published a photo of a car which the victim says is similar to the suspect’s vehicle.

ORIGINAL STORY: Salinas police are searching for the man who attacked a woman near Hartnell College.
It happened just after 7:00 p.m. Monday night as the 21-year-old was walking from the Hartnell administration building to her car, which was parked on College Drive. According to the school, the woman is not a student at Hartnell.
Police say the victim was talking on the phone as she made her way through the 600 block of Hartnell Street, when a man jumped out of the bushes and tried to pull down her pants.
He pushed her to the ground, but she was able to fight him off and get away.
She ran back to her car and called 911. She last saw him running toward Central Avenue.
He’s described as a 19-year-old Hispanic male, about 5’7″ and 175 lbs. He was wearing a brown hoodie and glasses.
