Thanksgiving travel off to smooth start in Monterey
On the road and in the air, Thanksgiving produces some pretty heavy travel.
With the weekend just beginning, things were running smoothly at Monterey Regional Airport. Nevertheless, the airport’s director suggests travelers allow extra time to accommodate bigger crowds.
“It’s going to be a little busier and it’s going to take a little bit more time,” said Michael LaPier, Executive Director of Monterey Regional Airport.
