Deputies searching for man in Chualar murder case

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man named as a person of interest in a Chualar murder case earlier this year.

On Wednesday, deputies said they are looking for John Plant, 26, about 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, blue eyes and brown hair.

Investigators say Ronnie Cronn went missing in May and his body was found near Chualar in September. So far, Jeffrey Madruga and Julie McClure are both facing murder charges, both accused of killing Cronn.
