Teen with loaded gun arrested in Watsonville
A 14-year-old boy is behind bars after being caught with a loaded gun. According to the Watsonville Police Department, an officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Freedom and Main at about 11:40 p.m. Monday night. The officer approached the vehicle and immediately noticed a heavy scent of marijuana. When the five people got out of the vehicle, the officer was able to locate a loaded, concealed revolver in the pocket of a 14-year-old. It was later learned that the juvenile was on probation and had a felony arrest warrant. The male juvenile was arrested for nine different charges. Another passenger in the vehicle was arrested for a violation of his terms of probation. He was cited and released.
