November 8th: Historic election for women

Even before a single vote is tabulated, Tuesday’s General Election will be remembered as an historic election for women.

For the first time ever, a woman, Democrat Hillary Clinton, is running for President as the nominee of a major political party. Women feature prominently in other major races.

Two women, Kamala Harris and Loretta Sanchez, are vying for the U.S. Senate seat from California. Karina Alejo and Anna Caballero are contesting an assembly seat.

Tonight, KION’s Brandon Castillo talks with analysts and women voters about their thoughts and expectations for the election.
