Officials identify bulldozer operator killed in fire

Cal Fire officials have identified the bulldozer operator who was killed Tuesday night while fighting the Soberanes Fire. He is Robert Oliver Reagan III, 35, of Friant, CA.

Oliver was killed July 26 during overnight operations to contain the fire.

As of Thursday, the fire has burned 27,326 acres and destroyed 34 homes north of Big Sur. The fire is 10 percent contained.
