Man recovering from gunshot wounds in Salinas

A man is in critical condition after being shot early Saturday morning on Towt Street in Salinas.

According to police, the 29-year-old man was shot while on his way to work. Officers found him lying on the sidewalk, suffering from several gunshot wounds.

His identity has not been released. Salinas Police is unsure if the shooting is gang related.
