Fundraising underway for century old Pacific Grove festival

Nearly 100 people came out for the 3rd annual Beach House Brunch on Lover’s Point to raise money for this year’s Feast of Lanterns.

Event coordinators are hoping to raise at least $10,000 through ticket sales and a silent auction.

A kiddie carnival, food vendors and a pageant will all be part of the festival.

“We just love it when people are generous and help support this wonderful event because we celebrate the birthday of Pacific Grove and the history of the town,” said Feast of Lanterns president Joni Birch.

The Feast of Lanterns will be held July 27-31, 2016. Tickets are on sale now.
