Teen arrested in Watsonville with stolen gun
A teenager is in custody facing several charges after an incident on Monday night.
It all started just after 5:00 p.m. when Watsonville police were sent to the area of Elm and Lincoln for reports of a domestic disturbance.
When police arrived, they found a 17-year-old running from the area. After a short chase on foot, he was caught.
The suspect then confessed to officers that he had a loaded gun, which turned out to be stolen.
The teen was on probation and had an active warrant for his arrest.
He was taken to juvenile hall.
