Man shot Sunday night in Watsonville
Watsonville police are looking into an attempted homicide.
It happened on Sunday night, just before 9:00 p.m. in the area of Pennsylvania Drive and South Green Valley Road.
A 29-year-old Hispanic man was reportedly walking down the street when he heard five shots and one struck him in the arm.
He did not see who fired the shots or whether the person was on foot or inside a vehicle.
The man told police he walked to the hospital for treatment, but did not provide any other details.
Officers searched the area for evidence of a shooting, but did not locate anything.
This shooting is being investigated as gang related.
