Car into power pole shuts down parts of N. Sanborn Rd. in Salinas
A car crash in Salinas has caused the partial closure of North Sanborn Road Sunday morning, according to police.
Officer said they responded to a report of a vehicle into a power pole around 5:20 a.m.
On arrival police found a blue Chevrolet truck had broken and knocked down a power pole.
The driver was no longer at the scene and it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved.
Crews have taped off North Sanborn Road between Circle Drive and Market Street. PG&E crews have replaced the pole and are working on re-attaching the power lines to re-open the street.
