Man shot in Watsonville while taking out garbage

Watsonville Police is looking for the suspects who shot a man while hewasthrowing out the garbage.

The attempted homicide happened at 9:13 Wednesday night on the 400 block of Beck Street.

Officers said the suspect or suspects were in a dark grey or black Honda when they shot the victim.

Police said the Hispanic man in his thirties was flown to a trauma center in the Bay Area with life-threatening injuries.

Officers canvassed the neighborhood and looked for potential witnesses.

The suspects were seen leaving in the Honda.

Watsonville Police do not know if the shooting is gang related.
