Watsonville Police search for suspects in armed robbery

Watsonville Police are on the lookout for multiple suspects behind an armed robbery at a Bank of America ATM.

It happened Tuesday just before 11:00 p.m. at Main Street and Green Valley Road, when officers say the victim was using the ATM and was approached by three suspects.

One suspect was armed with a knife and held it to the victim’s back, threatening to stab the victim. The suspects demanded money from the victim and were able to take the victim’s wallet.

The suspects escaped from the scene in a green Honda Accord, which was occupied by a driver, and drove toward South Green Valley Road. One suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, about 5’8″, 160 lbs., clean shaven and wearing a red baseball style hat. Another suspect was described as a Hispanic male adult, about 5’8″, 200 lbs. and wearing a dark grey hooded sweatshirt.
