Salinas couple arrested for armed robberies and bank robbery cases
A man wanted by the FBI for two bank robberies in Missouri, is being tied to seven more armed robbery cases in Salinas, according to the Salinas Police Department.
Police said agents with the FBI and U.S. Marshals tracked down Terry Jacobs, 46, and his girlfriend Jayme Wilson, 26, in the 1200 block of Polk Street last week.
Salinas Police said in each case armed robbery case, the suspect was described as a black man wearing a “burka” style mask over over his face and armed with a semi-automatic handgun.
Those cases included:
January 15th-The Dollar Tree 1235 N. Davis Rd.
January 21st-Wendy’s 1339 N. Main St.
January 27th-Subway 1562 N. Main St.
January 28th-Valero 1201 N. Main St.
January 29th-Subway 1403 N. Main St.
January 31th-ACME Chevron 2047 N. Main St.
February 7th-Arco Gas Station 131 N. Main St.
Both were arrested on scene. Jacobs was taken to San Jose to face charges in Federal court. Wilson was booked into the Monterey County Jail on seven counts of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
