Goodwill Central Coast moving headquarters to Salinas
Goodwill Central Coast is making some big changes through a $25 million modernization plan.The company wants to renovate its retail stores and enhance efficiency and worker safety.
Part of the plan includes the expansion and relocation of the headquarters and central processing facility from Santa Cruz to Salinas. The new headquarters will be on Moffett Street, near the airport.
According to Goodwill Central Coast, all of the 114 employees working at the Santa Cruz facility have been offered jobs in Salinas or at one of the other 23 sites. For many, it will mean a shorter commute.
