January jobs report shows dip in unemployment: What about Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties?
January’s U.S. jobs report shows unemployment has dipped below five percent for the first time in almost eight years.
That was the message from President Barack Obama on Friday.
The report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows the economy added 151,000 jobs in January, dropping unemployment to 4.9 percent.
