Warriors at the White House
President Barack Obama praised the Golden State Warriors at the White House Thursday.
“It’s beautiful to watch when they’re working on all cylinders,” he said.
President Obama hosted the team Thursday for winning the NBA championship last year. The team has a 45-4 record so far this season.
The president also joked around with MVP Stephen Curry.
“Steph is a pretty good shooter. For those of you who watched the game against the Wizards last night, he was — to use slang — he was “clowning.” He was all jumping up and down. Just settle down.”
Warriors Coach Steve Kerr presented President Obama with a team jersey, assigning him number 44.
